§ 36-15-33 — Student license application--Requirements and issuance of license--Withdrawal or transfer.
South Dakota·Title 36 PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS·Ch. 36-13 COSMETOLOGISTS, ESTHETICIANS, NAIL TECHNICIANS, AND SALONS
Any person entering or enrolling in a licensed school for education in the practice of cosmetology, nail technology, or esthetics shall apply to the commission for a student license within ten days after the date of enrollment. The applicant for a student license shall be at least seventeen years of age. The application shall contain the information required pursuant to § 36-15-15 and the name and location of the school being attended. Upon receipt of the application and the fee provided for in this chapter, the commission shall issue to the applicant a student license which entitles the student to complete the course of education in which the student is enrolled without additional license fees.
