South Dakota Statutes
§ 36-11A-44 — Retention of transaction files--Inspection.
Each file shall be:
(1)Maintained by the purchaser and the licensee for six years from the date of the transaction; and (2) Available for inspection or use within two business days upon a request of an authorized officer of the law.
