§ 33-7-6 — Reimbursement for certain expenses--Use of transportation assets for military purposes.

Any member of the National Guard performing state active duty shall be reimbursed for all necessary expenses pursuant to § 3-9-2 . For purposes of this section, necessary expenses include costs of transportation to and from a duty location as directed, subsistence, quarters, and uniform maintenance or replacement. The adjutant general, on approval of the Governor, may authorize the use of state transportation assets at the adjutant general's disposal for the use of the National Guard on state active duty or to support military schools of instruction, investigations, boards of survey, inspections, annual conventions of the officers and enlisted association of the National Guard, or any other uses deemed necessary for military purposes.
