In the event of an accident involving a fully autonomous vehicle:

(1)The fully autonomous vehicle must remain on the scene of the crash as required by chapter 32-34 ;
(2)The owner of the fully autonomous vehicle, or a person on behalf of the vehicle owner, shall report any crashes or collisions consistent with chapter 32-34 ; and (3) The vehicle's failure to remain at the scene of the accident or to otherwise operate in compliance with the requirements of chapter 32-34 must be imputed to the owner of the vehicle, who may be charged and convicted of a violation of chapter 32-34 .
