Text
A manufacturer of agricultural machinery or equipment transporting machinery or equipment manufactured in South Dakota to a point in South Dakota; a dealer in and commercial carrier of oversize farm implements; a farmer or rancher transporting oversize farm implements; a commercial operator of oversize farm implements doing business in this state; a municipal operator of sludge hauling vehicles; a person engaged in hauling livestock, stacked feed, baled hay, or baled flax straw; a municipal or commercial hauler of baled garbage; a person engaged in hauling mobile homes manufactured in this state; or a manufacturer, user, or producer of construction machinery, equipment, or materials used or produced in South Dakota may apply to the Division of Highway Patrol for an oversize permit.
