Text

A valid operator's license, motorcycle operator's license, restricted minor's permit, motorcycle restricted minor's permit, instruction permit, or motorcycle instruction permit is not subject to the one hundred eighty-day renewable period in § 32-12-42 and may be renewed at any time regardless of the expiration date, if held by:

(1)An active-duty member of the armed forces of the United States, as defined in § 33-1-1 ;
(2)An employee of the United States Department of State serving outside of the United States; or (3) A spouse or a dependent of an active-duty member of the armed forces of the United States .
