§ 32-11-39 — Promulgation of rules regarding local bridge improvement grant fund.
The Transportation Commission shall promulgate rules, pursuant to chapter 1-26 , regarding the application process and timelines, the guidelines and criteria for approval of applications, and the distribution of funds from the local bridge improvement grant fund. The criteria for evaluating the projects may include the proximity of other bridges and culverts, alternative routes available, structural deficiencies, functionality and use of the bridge or culvert, and project costs.
