The state trunk highway system includes the following in Lawrence and Meade counties: From a point on Interstate Highway 90 in the southeast quarter of section thirteen, township six north, range two east, thence southerly and northeasterly via Spearfish, Spearfish Canyon, Lead, Deadwood, and Sturgis to Interstate Highway 90 near the southeast corner of section five, township five north, range five east.
