For purposes of this chapter, an eligible retirement plan is an eligible plan under 26 U.S.C. § 457(b) maintained by a state, political subdivision of a state, or any agency or instrumentality of a state or political subdivision of a state and that agrees to separately account for amounts transferred into that plan from this plan, a traditional individual retirement account, a Roth individual retirement account, an annuity plan described in 26 U.S.C. § 403(a), an annuity contract described in 26 U.S.C. § 403(b), or a qualified plan described in 26 U.S.C. § 401(a), accepting the distributee's eligible rollover distribution.
