§ 26-7A-67 — "Statement" defined.
The term, "statement," as used in §§ 26-7A-64 to 26-7A-66 , inclusive, in relation to any witness called by the state's attorney, means:
(1)A written statement made by the witness and signed or otherwise adopted or approved by the witness;
(2)A stenographic, mechanical, electrical, or other recording, or a transcription of a recording, which is a substantially verbatim recital of an oral statement made by the witness and recorded contemporaneously with the making of the oral statement; or (3) A summary of an oral declaration made by someone other than the witness that has been reduced to writing.
