§ 24-11-13 — Officer in charge of jail--Conformance to policies and procedures.

South Dakota·Title 24 CORRECTIONAL FACILITIES AND PAROLE·Ch. 24-10 JAILS

The sheriff or other officer designated by law or ordinance shall have charge of the jail of his county or municipality and of all persons by law confined therein. The officer in charge of any jail shall conform in all respects to the policies and procedures required by § 24-11-23 .
