§ 21-68-6 — Construction.

South Dakota·Title 21 JUDICIAL REMEDIES·Ch. 21-66 UNIFORM CIVIL REMEDIES FOR UNAUTHORIZED DISCLOSURE OF INTIMATE IMAGES ACT

This chapter may not be construed to do any of the following:

(1)Create, recognize, or ratify a claim or cause of action of any kind;

(2)Eliminate or satisfy a required element of a claim or cause of action of any kind;

(3)Deem COVID-19 an occupational disease. COVID-19 is not an occupational disease under state law; or (4) Abrogate, amend, repeal, alter, or affect any statutory or common law immunity or limitation of liability.
