§ 13-55-38 — Scholarship board established--Terms--Meetings--Membership--Quorum.

South Dakota·Title 13 EDUCATION·Ch. 13-54 SCHOLARSHIPS AND FREE TUITION AT STATE INSTITUTIONS

The Richard Hagen - Minerva Harvey memorial scholarship program shall be administered by a five - member board named the Richard Hagen - Minerva Harvey Memorial Scholarship Board which is hereby established. The members shall be appointed by the Governor for a term of five years, except that the initial appointments shall be for periods of one, two, three, four, and five years. The Governor shall appoint one member as the temporary chair of the board. The board shall elect officers at its first meeting. The board shall meet no more than four times a year, not including telephonic conferences, as may be necessary to complete its responsibilities as prescribed by §§ 13-55-37 to 13-55-46 , inclusive.
