§ 13-54-12 — Per diem and expenses of county extension board.

South Dakota·Title 13 EDUCATION·Ch. 13-54 EXTENSION WORK OF STATE INSTITUTIONS

The members of the county extension board shall receive payment comparable to members of other county boards and commissions other than the members of the board of county commissioners as shall be established by the board of county commissioners but in no case less than five dollars for each day or part of a day actually engaged in the service of the board and shall be paid expenses incurred in necessary service inside or outside of the county at the same rate paid county extension personnel. Any amount paid a county commissioner who is a member of this board shall not be included in the limits of compensation provided for in § 7-7-5 .
