Text
The terms of office of the members of center boards shall be for three years and shall terminate on June thirtieth or as soon thereafter as their successors are appointed and qualify. At the initial organizational meeting of a center board, the initial terms of office of each member shall be determined by lot in a manner which shall result in approximately one - third of the membership serving for one year, one - third of the membership serving for two years, and the balance of the membership serving for three years. Vacancies on a center board shall be filled by the school board whose representation was lost when the vacancy occurred.
