§ 13-33A-1 — School health services--Coordination by registered nurse.
A public school system shall provide school health services coordinated by a registered nurse, whose services may be shared by one or more school systems. The services shall include assessment and implementation of services for students with special needs, administration of medications, and performance of specialized health care procedures. The registered nurse is responsible for the training and supervision of any school employee to whom provision of any of the services listed in this section is delegated.
