Text
The parent of a student to whom an assessment is administered pursuant to § 13-3-55 or the eligible student may request to inspect and review the assessment of the student after it is scored and the results are provided to the parent or eligible student. The parent or eligible student shall be provided with access to the assessment in a secured environment within a reasonable period of time, but not more than forty-five days after the request is received. The department, through its website, shall provide parents and school districts with information regarding the process and procedures for the inspection and review authorized in this section. For the purposes of this section, the term, parent, and the term, eligible student, are as defined in 34 C.F.R. § 99.3, as of January 1, 2016.
