§ 12-22-12 — Intervention by other candidates--Assertion of right to nomination or office.
Any other person who was a candidate for such office or nomination may be permitted at any time to intervene, but shall not be permitted to assert any right to such nomination or office unless such intervention is within the time in which he might have started a contest.
