Text

It shall be the duty of each official newspaper of the county to publish once not less than two nor more than four weeks prior to each general election full copies of that material supplied pursuant to § 12-13-2 , and for such publication such newspaper shall receive compensation at the legal rate prescribed by law to be paid out of the general fund. In case any official newspaper shall fail or refuse to make such publication as hereinbefore provided, such newspaper shall thereupon cease to be an official newspaper for the remainder of that year and for the following calendar year, and the board of county commissioners of such county shall appoint some other newspaper of such county as an official newspaper. The refusal of an official newspaper or newspapers to publish shall not invalidate
