§ 11-7-29 — Compliance with conditions for federal aid--Conveyance to federal government on default.

A commission shall have further power to include in any contract for financial assistance with the federal government any conditions which the federal government may attach to its financial aid of a project, not inconsistent with the purposes of this chapter; and in any contract with the federal government for annual contributions to a commission, the commission may obligate itself (which obligation shall be specifically enforceable and shall not constitute a mortgage, notwithstanding any other laws) to convey to the federal government possession of or title to the project to which such contract relates, upon the occurrence of a substantial default (as defined in such contract) with respect to the covenants or conditions to which the commission is subject; such contract may further provide
