§ 11-11-100 — Acquisition and disposition of property.

The authority may acquire real or personal property, or any interest therein, on either a temporary or long-term basis in the authority's own name by gift, purchase, transfer, foreclosure, lease, or otherwise, including rights or easements in real property; hold, sell, assign, lease, encumber, mortgage, or otherwise dispose of any real or personal property or any interest therein; hold, sell, assign, or otherwise dispose of any mortgage lien interest owned by the authority or under the authority's control, custody, or in the authority's possession; and release or relinquish any right, title, claim, lien, interest, easement, or demand however acquired, including any equity or right of redemption in property foreclosed by the authority and do any of the foregoing by public or private sale, w
