If any provision of §§ 1-53-23 to 1-53-37 , inclusive, or the application thereof to any person or circumstances, is held invalid, the remainder of §§ 1-53-23 to 1-53-37 , inclusive, and the application of such provision to other persons or circumstances, shall not be affected thereby.
