The affidavit for new frontiers payment as required by § 1-16G-78 shall be filed no later than six months after the completion of the program. If the affidavit for new frontiers payment is not timely filed, the person is ineligible for a new frontiers payment. If the person filing the affidavit for new frontiers payment knowingly makes any material false statement or report in the affidavit for new frontiers payment, the person is ineligible for a new frontiers payment. No program costs that occur after eight years from the commencement date are eligible to be included in the final program cost determination for a new frontiers payment, unless an extension is granted at the sole discretion of the board. Any extension granted may not extend beyond twelve years from the commencement date.
