Text

Subject to the provisions of Section 62-5-433 the circuit court has:

(1)exclusive jurisdiction to approve the settlement of any claim that exceeds ten thousand dollars in favor of or against any minor or incapacitated person; and (2) concurrent jurisdiction with the probate court to approve the settlement of any claim not exceeding ten thousand dollars in favor of or against any minor or incapacitated person.
