§ 58-5-220 — Standardized system of accounts.
South Carolina·Title 58 PUBLIC UTILITIES, SERVICES AND CARRIERS·Ch. 5 GAS, HEAT, WATER, SEWERAGE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL, AND STREET RAILWAY COMPANIES
The Office of Regulatory Staff may, in its discretion, subject to approval of the commission:
(a)establish a standardized system of accounts to be kept by the public utilities subject to its jurisdiction;
(b)classify such public utilities and establish a standardized system of accounts for each class; and (c) prescribe the manner in which such accounts shall be kept.
