§ 55-5-73 — Approved and filed plan required for obtaining airport construction funding.

South Carolina·Title 55 AERONAUTICS·Ch. 5 STATE AERONAUTICAL REGULATORY ACT
No state airport construction funding or funding from the State Aviation Fund shall be provided to an airport unless it has an airport layout plan and construction plan approved by, and on file with the division at the time the request for funding is made.

Legislative History

HISTORY: 2012 Act No. 270, SECTION 3, eff June 18, 2012. Editor's Note 2021 Act No. 86, SECTION 3, provides as follows: "SECTION 3. Revenues collected pursuant to this act and credited to the State Aviation Fund shall be used, in part, to aid counties within the State that do not have an airport facility in obtaining or developing an airport facility through the South Carolina Aeronautics Commission." Effect of Amendment The 1993 amendment substituted "division" for "Commission". The 2012 amendment rewrote this section.
