§ 48-43-570 — Cooperation and responsibilities of state agencies.

South Carolina·Title 48 ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND CONSERVATION·Ch. 43 OIL AND GAS EXPLORATION, DRILLING, TRANSPORTATION, AND PRODUCTION
(a)The Department of Transportation, the Department of Natural Resources, and any other agency of this State, shall cooperate with and lend assistance to the Department of Health and Environmental Control by assigning, upon request, personnel, equipment and material to be utilized in any project or activity related to the containment, collection, dispersal or removal of oil discharged upon the land or into the waters of this State.
(b)Subsequent to July 1, 1977, and prior to September 1, 1977, designated representatives of the department, the Department of Transportation, and the Department of Natural Resources , and any other agency or agencies of the State which the department shall deem necessary and appropriate, shall confer and establish plans and procedures for the assignment and u
