The State hereby consents to acquisition by the United States of America of those certain pieces, parcels or tracts of land known as Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter County, containing twenty-eight hundred acres, more or less, together with the radio range used in conjunction therewith, containing eleven acres, more or less, and all other lands owned by the United States of America adjacent to said Shaw Air Force Base which were being used for military purposes by the United States of America on February 9, 1950. The State waives any right to compensation which it may have by reason of the taking and use of such lands by the United States of America and the State cedes to the United States of America, without compensation, all the right, title, interest and estate which the State had in said
