Text

(A)The Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities may return a nonresident person with intellectual disability or a related disability admitted to a service or program in this State to the proper agency of the state of his residence.
(B)The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is authorized to enter into reciprocal agreements with the proper agencies of other states to facilitate the return to the state of their residence persons admitted or committed to services for persons with intellectual disability or a related disability in this State or other states.
(C)The office may detain a person with intellectual disability or a related disability returned to this State from the state of his commitment for not more than ninety-six hours pending order of t
