The General Assembly directs the State Superintendent of Education, the Executive Director of the Education Oversight Committee, the Chairman of the House Education and Public Works Committee, and the Chairman of the Senate Education Committee to each appoint one representative to a committee to be chaired by the appointee of the State Superintendent of Education to review Title 59 of the South Carolina Code of Laws and report to the General Assembly all statutes that are obsolete or no longer applicable. In addition, the report must identify all the federal education statutes and regulations with which the State of South Carolina is required to comply.
