§ 7-6-80. Amendment to articles of incorporation of foreign corporation.

Whenever the articles of incorporation of a foreign corporation authorized to conduct affairs in this state are amended, the foreign corporation shall, within 30 days after the amendment becomes effective, file in the office of the secretary of state a copy of the amendment duly certified by the proper officer of the state or country under the laws of which it is incorporated; but the filing of the articles does not of itself enlarge or alter the purpose or purposes that the corporation is authorized to pursue in conducting its affairs in this state, or authorize the corporatio
