§ 5-8-22. Severability.
If any of the provisions of this chapter or if any rule, regulation, or order under
            this chapter or the application of that provision to any person or circumstance is
            held invalid, the remainder of this chapter and the application of that provision
            of this chapter or of that rule, regulation, or order to any person or circumstances,
            other than those as to which it is held invalid, is not affected.
