§ 5-73-2. Purpose.
The purpose of this chapter is to promote public safety, health, and welfare by providing
            a mechanism to ensure that all roofing contractors conducting business in the state
            of Rhode Island have the requisite skills, training, and experience necessary to safely
            and adequately conduct roofing activities within this state.
