§ 5-45-7. Qualification for licensure.

In order to be eligible for licensure pursuant to this chapter, a person shall:

(1) Be not less than eighteen (18) years of age and of good moral character;

(2) Have satisfactorily completed a course of instruction and training approved by the department. The course shall be designed as to content and administered as to present sufficient knowledge of the needs properly to be served by nursing homes; laws governing the operation of nursing homes and the protection of the interests of patients in the nursing homes; and the elements of good nursing h
