§ 5-44-11. Licensure without examination.
A licensure as a psychologist may be issued to:
(1) An applicant who has been licensed or certified as a psychologist under the laws of another state, United States territory, or foreign country where the board determines that the requirements are substantially equivalent to those of this state; or
(2) A person who has been certified after examination by the American Board of Examiners in Professional Psychology, if the board determines that the examination is substantially equivalent to, or exceeds, the requirements of the examination approved
