§ 5-39.1-6. Board of social work examiners.

(a) Within the department, there is established a board of social work examiners.

(b) The governor shall appoint a board consisting of seven (7) members. Two (2) shall be social workers; two (2) shall be licensed clinical social workers; and two (2) shall be licensed independent clinical social workers (for the purposes of initial appointments, certified social workers represent licensed clinical social workers and certified independent social workers represent licensed independent social workers).
