§ 5-34-5. Board of nursing — Qualifications of members.

(a) Each member of the board of nurse registration and nursing education shall:

(1) Be a citizen of the United States;

(2) Be a resident of the state for at least one year immediately preceding appointment;

(3) File the statutory oath of office with the secretary of state before beginning the term of office; and

(4) Sign a conflict-of-interest statement.
