§ 5-34-47. Titles and abbreviations.

(a) Only those persons who hold a license or privilege to practice as advanced practice registered nurses in this state shall have the right to use the title "advanced practice registered nurse� and the roles of "certified registered nurse anesthetist,� "clinical nurse specialist,� and "certified nurse practitioner�; and the abbreviations "APRN,� "CRNA,� "CNS,� and "CNP� respectively.

(b) The abbreviation for the APRN designation of a certified registered nurse anesthetist, a clinical nurse specialist, and for a certified nurse practitioner will be APRN,
