§ 5-33.2-4. Unlicensed practice unlawful.

It is unlawful for any person to engage in, conduct, or hold himself or herself out as engaged in the practice of funeral directing and/or embalming, or of preparing for or disposing of dead human remains by any means in this state or preserving in any manner, dead human bodies, in this state, unless he or she holds a funeral director/embalmer's license issued in accordance with the provisions of this chapter.
