§ 5-33.2-13.1. Crematories — License and inspection.

No crematory owned or operated by or located on property licensed as a funeral establishment or at another location or by a cemetery shall conduct cremations without first having applied for and obtained a license from the department. Applications for the crematory license shall be made on forms furnished by the division accompanied by the application fee as set forth in § 23-1-54. Upon receipt of a completed application, the department shall issue a license. A license shall be issued to a specific licensee for a specific location and is not transferable.
