§ 5-29-5. Power of the director.
The director has the following duties and powers:
(1) To issue, pursuant to any rules and regulations promulgated by the board and approved
            by the director, all licenses and registrations required by this chapter to duly qualified
            applicants;
         
(2) To deny licenses and registrations, to revoke, suspend, or otherwise discipline licensees
            in accordance with the provisions of this chapter; and
         
(3) To exercise all other powers, specifically conferred upon the director by virtue of
            the provisions of this chapter
