§ 5-20.5-22. Severability.
If any provision of this chapter is held invalid, that provision is deemed to be excised
            from this chapter and its invalidity does not affect any of the other provisions of
            this chapter. If the application of any provision of this chapter to any person or
            circumstance is held invalid, it does not affect the application of that provision
            to those persons or circumstances other than those to which it is held invalid.
