§ 5-2-14. Continuation of powers of boards and bureaus of police commissioners.
Whenever the powers conferred in this chapter by law upon city and town councils have
            been conferred upon boards or bureaus of police commissioners in any city or town,
            those powers shall continue to be exercised by those boards or bureaus of police commissioners.
