§ 5-11.1-2. Purpose.
The intent of this chapter is to standardize the registration process for mobile food
            establishments in the state by authorizing the department of business regulation to
            issue state mobile food establishment registrations. Furthermore, this chapter explicitly
            exempts the selling of food or beverages from the provisions of chapter 11 of this
            title which applies to hawkers and peddlers.
