§ 43-4-18.1. Use of appropriate disability language.
The office of the law revision director is authorized and empowered to delete the
            words "the handicappedâ€� and insert instead the words "people with disabilitiesâ€�, delete
            the words "handicap personâ€� or "handicapped personâ€� and insert instead the words "person
            with disabilityâ€�, and delete the word "handicapâ€� and insert instead the word "disabilityâ€�
            in any reenactment of the general laws.
