§ 42-9-3. Attendance at general assembly and courts — Information on criminal matters.
The attorney general shall give his or her attendance at the general assembly, and
            at the supreme and superior courts, for the service thereof; and shall give unto those
            courts due advice and information concerning any criminal matters, breaches of the
            peace, or wrong done to the state or any of the citizens thereof, that shall come
            to the attorney general's knowledge.
