§ 42-8-24. Permanent commission on government information.

(a) Creation. There is hereby created a permanent state commission on government information.

(b) Composition. The commission shall consist of ten (10) members: one of whom shall be the governor, or designee; one of whom shall be the secretary of state, or designee; one of whom shall be from the house of representatives, to be appointed by the speaker; one to be appointed jointly by the minority leaders of the house and senate; one of whom shall be from the senate, to be appointed by the president of the senate; one of whom shall be the Director of
