§ 42-72-25. Relations with other governmental agencies.
The department is authorized to cooperate with the appropriate agencies of the federal
            government, this state or other states, and regional and local agencies in the planning,
            design and implementation of any programs and facilities necessary to implement this
            chapter. The department is authorized to apply for and accept funds from federal and
            regional agencies to carry out any of its functions, and to contract with the federal
            government and regional agencies concerning the use and disposition of the funds.
