§ 42-69-1. Commission established — Membership.

There is established a permanent state commission to be known as the schooner Ernestina/Morrissey commission, consisting of nine (9) members to be appointed by the governor, one of whom shall be the director of the Rhode Island economic development corporation, or that director's designee, one of whom shall be the director of the department of environmental management, or that director's designee, one of whom shall be the mayor of the city of Providence, or the mayor's designee, one of whom shall be a member of the heritage commission, one of whom shall be from the University of Rhode Island's division
