§ 42-60-10. Penalties.
Every person shall obey, observe, and comply with the provisions of this chapter and
            with every effective order, rule, or regulation promulgated pursuant to this chapter.
            Violations of any provision of this chapter or of any order, rule, or regulation promulgated
            under this chapter shall constitute a misdemeanor and shall be punishable by a fine
            not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500) or imprisonment not to exceed thirty (30)
            days. Every violation shall be a separate and distinct offense, and, in the case of
            continuing violation, every day's continuance of that violation shall be a separate
            and distinct offense.
